Enjoy a Japanese meal in a relaxed atmosphere

Ganko, Ginza 1-chome (Japanese) / がんこ 銀座一丁目店

Ganko Japanese Restaurant

GankoKimono-clad staff in a traditionally Japanese motif complete with Japanese Tatami (rice straw) mats, tables and chairs welcome you to Ganko Ginza 1-chome and its version of Japanese dining in a relaxing atmosphere.

Located facing the Ginza main street, Ganko Ginza 1-chome is a network of small and large rooms geared for small and large groups, special occasions, and family outings, offering a variety of Japanese cuisines ranging from single items to Kaiseki dishes, including Sushi as a full entrée, staying within the boundaries of its name.

The name "Ganko" means strong belief in picking the finest and is evident here as the restaurant adheres to its convicted rules when selecting its ingredients and produce. Vegetables are carefully grown in selected soil in assigned farmlands with very low use of pesticides. Handmade Tofu, in its natural bitterness, is served in its traditional way. Pigs and chickens are raised free range by certified ranchers. Even the grain for home-brewed sake is carefully chosen.

GankoAll sea food is flown directly from fisherman to restaurant to maintain maximum freshness. Dishes are beautifully presented and asking for instructions on how to dig into them is suggested. For full course meals you can request free refills on drinks and alcohol
beverages. The menu changes monthly to accommodate the seasons.

English menu and English-speaking staff are available almost daily to make your dining experience unforgettable.
